Sales Strategy

Hi all, my company sells specialized tools to small digital print shops (banners, window signs, etc). Some parts wear out so i try to keep in regular contact with my current client base. But am looking for ways to increase sales.

Any thoughts?

Are you trying to increase your client base or get more sales from existing customers?

If you're talking about current clients, do you have additional products they may be interested in? Have you thought about becoming a distributor for other products that they might need?

Thanks Steve. Both really. We make one main product with 2 other complimentary products. Most of our clients use all 3.

If you visit your clients, you may want to have a look at their shop (i.e. what other products they are using) and see if you may be able to distribute those products to them as well.

Just my 2 cents but people want the best tools for the job and excellent service. They also want good value and to be able to trust the person/company they are dealing with. If you are that person/company, get more products and provide the service and value.

Direct mail to shop owners? Maybe a coupon for new clients? You could also cold call or drop by if you are comfortable with that.

When talking to them, ask them what they need and desire then explain how you would provide it for them.
